2.3 Growing Up

I hesitantly opened the door.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“Bianca, it’s so good to see you. Can we please talk?”

I stepped out on the porch and closed the door.

“I’m listening.” I said trying hard not to sound too cold.

He patiently waited for the delivery boy to leave.

“I was wrong for what I did. Very wrong. You are the best thing that has ever and will ever happen to me. I made a huge mistake and hurt both of us in the process. Will you please forgive me?”

I sighed.

I hope I don’t regret this…

“Yes. I forgive you.”

“Oh, thank you. I was hoping you would say that….I got you something.”

Screenshot-64 (2)

“Bianca Bluebeard, please say Yes again.”

It was Love Day.

I applied the finishing touches to my make up.

Screenshot-3

The forecast called for warm weather and sunshine.

I chuckled to myself.

I could see my breath!

Screenshot-5

Yes, it was my wedding day.

Some might question my decision, but I do not.

I know Jeff is the one for me.

And as I saw him at the end of the aisle, waiting for me, I couldn’t help but smile.

Screenshot-8

I walked up to Jeff. His eyes sparkled.

“You look amazing.” he whispered.

Screenshot-9

We stood under the arch, waiting what seemed like an eternity for the violinist’s last note to stop.

Screenshot-11

“Bianca, I promise to love you, to support you, to make you happy, to be your friend, to be your husband, to be your shoulder, to be your anything.”

Screenshot-12

“Jeff, I promise to love you, to be your friend and your wife. I look forward to sharing all of life’s experiences with you.”

Screenshot-13

We were husband and wife.

Screenshot-15

The full moon lit up the night.

Unfortunately, it did not warm up the cool air.

Most the guests went inside to warm up, but I was lost in Jeff’s arms.

Screenshot-17

Of course it wouldn’t be a day in The Life of Bianca if it didn’t start raining, but then again rain has never stopped my fun before.

Screenshot-20

All the guests thanked us for inviting them join out celebration and started to go home.

I glanced at the clock.

We had to hurry!

As a gift from Jeff’s parents. we had a honeymoon flight to Shang Simla, leaving in 2 hours!

Screenshot-22

The flight was long, and although I was super excited, I was able to get some rest.

We took a taxi to the hotel.

I was in awe of the beauty of this place.

I wanted to draw everything…too bad my sketch book was in the trunk.

Jeff carried our luggage inside.

“I hope you don’t mind if I relax, just for a few minutes..”he said sleepily.

“Oh, of course not. I’m just going to slip into something more comfortable.”

I took my bag to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

Much better.

I started to look through my bag.

Finally I found what I was looking for. It must have been the first thing I packed.

I blushed.

I walked into the bedroom where Jeff was resting.

Now what?

Screenshot-23

I cleared my throat.

Jeff opened his eyes. Then his jaw dropped.

“Wow.”

I climbed into bed.

“I hope you got enough rest.” I teased.

“Me too.” he said as he wrapped his arms around me.

Our sightseeing began the next day.

Again, Shang Simla was amazing.

Screenshot-31

I loved the TerraCotta army.

Screenshot-32

There were so many places to explore and a few places that I couldn’t help but get out my sketch book.

Screenshot-33

I was so thankful for this gift. Jeff and I were having a wonderful time.

When we arrived home, we noticed a few changes.

Mom and Dad had done some remodeling. They even added an art room for me!

Halfway through the house tour, I had to make a break for the bathroom. Darn jet lag!

Screenshot-37

Daily life came easy.

The Science Facility in Hidden Springs agreed to let Jeff work from home to honor his contract he had signed with them.

He was always getting weird equipment to work with.

Screenshot

My favorite was the floating orb holo-computer.

Screenshot-39

It became apparent that the incense burner was not the only souvenir we acquired from our honeymoon.

Screenshot-38

To say my father was excited would be an understatement.

Screenshot-42

My pregnancy was going fairly easily.

No morning sickness and my weight gain was right on chart, even though I felt huge!

Screenshot-44

It happened at night.

The pain, just like all the pregnancy books described.

I was in labor!!!

Zach was beautiful.

I wanted to hold him, but he was sleeping so peacefully.

Screenshot-46

Jeff was a very proud Daddy.

Screenshot-47

All the loves and cuddles doesn’t slow time down.

Before I could blink, Zach was a toddler.

Screenshot (2)

And we were all wrapped.

Screenshot-4 (2)

Mom was especially helpful. She was an excellent Grandmother.

Screenshot-5 (2)

While not working, Jeff spent his time with Zach.

Zach loved his xylophone.

Screenshot-7 (2)

I had been commissioned by City Hall for a number of paintings.

I was loving the art room, but it seemed like I never left.

Screenshot-6 (2)

It was on one of those long nights in the art room that I thought I saw Zach playing on one of those funky contraptions Jeff’s company sent.

Screenshot

I threw my paints down and ran out the back door.

Zach was not outside.

I found myself, alone, standing in the middle of the contraption.

Suddenly there was a bright light.

“JEFF!!!” I screamed.

But it was too late.

Zeus Simopolis- Log 1

Hello. My name is Zeus Simopolis. As my name suggests, I come from Greece. Ah, beautiful Greece. I was raised being told my Great Great Grandfather was THE Zeus. It sounded silly at first, I mean I don’t have any special powers or anything, well, of course, except for my immortality.

The day I turned into a young adult, my father pulled me aside and told he had a special plan for me. He wanted me to carry on the family name in America. So, here I am in Sunset Valley.

There are a few things he instructed me to accomplish. I have to get married and have as many children as my wife and I can have, and I have to master as many careers as possible. Sounds like fun to me! There are a few bumps in the road…for starters, I don’t know anyone here, I don’t have a job, and I don’t have much money!

First things first. I bought property and started to build a house. Not much, but it will do for now. I decided that I should start a career first. No beautiful woman is even going to give me the time of day without money in the bank…at least that is what the rumors are about these American girls. So, I begin searching for a job.

I found the perfect job for me! I was going to be a Private Investigator! I am very perceptive, and well, a bit nosey to be honest.

I will say, it can be messy at times too…

But in all it was fun, especially when you have the stealth of a ninja…

It was on my first stake out at the gym, that I realized I should be multitasking. There were a few beautiful women that didn’t even know I was there. Maybe, as I hid in these bushes, I could wife shop as well.

This little lady was a bit elusive…I caught up with her in the park and introduced myself. I shook her hand and turned on my charms, but she ran off before I could get her name.

As my Mystery Lady disappeared, I laid my eyes upon another beautiful lady.

I did a quick breath check, and went over to introduce myself. Her name is Zelda. I already liked the sound of our names together. Zelda and Zeus. I found out that she loves music and is trying to start a career in the music industry. As we talked we lost track of the time.

“Oh man.” Zelda said disappointedly. “I have to go… Can we meet here tomorrow?

Did she even have to ask? “Of course! I’ll be here.”

That night I slept very well. I started to see my father’s vision coming together. I looked forward to the next day, when I would see Zelda again.

She was as beautiful in the day as she was last night.

“Good afternoon, Zelda”, I whispered.

“Hello.” She replied.

“You know, you are as beautiful as a bouquet of roses,”I said as I watched her cheeks turn red.

I was just about to ask her if she liked children, when her phone alarm sounded.

“Crap. I have to go to work. I can’t be late!” Zelda yelled as she ran out of the park and into the theater. “I’ll see you later!”

I sighed and realized I should probably get some work done as well. I went to the library and attempted to stake it out, but all I could think about was Zelda Mae…
